Shakeerah Gbadebo

She graduated in 2000 with a BDS from the University of Ibadan. After being selected as one of the top ten graduating students, she had a one-year internship programme at the University College Hospital Ibadan. She proceeded with his residency programme in Restorative Dentistry in 2006 and completed this in November 2011 by being awarded a Scholarship from the West African College of Surgeons. Within this period, she also had his master’s programme in Dentistry at the University of Ibadan between September 2006 and August 2007. Subsequently, after his residency programme, she was appointed as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry, College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan in April 2012 and appointed as an Honorary Consultant in University College Hospital in August 2013. With his interest in orofacial pain education and management, he became a financial member of the International Association for the Study of Pain in 2014. She is also a member of the Nigerian Society of Restorative Dentistry, among other associations she belongs to. As a researcher and clinician, she has several publications covering authors’s knowledge about dentistry, endodontics, and orofacial pain.She is interested in further research activities on pain of endodontic origin and management, as well as dental anxiety and methods of managing it through information and communication.
