She has also published papers on some other neurological problems in Nigerian children such as cerebral malaria, brain abscess, stroke among others. She hopes to conduct more epidemiological studies to further elucidate the burden and contributory factors to sleep problems in Nigerian children and adolescents. She is also interested in exploring possible associations between sleep and development, nutrition, environmental toxins as well as genetics and their role in the aetiology and management of Paediatric neurobehavioral disorders. In addition, she hopes to continue to collaborate with other colleagues involved in research on neurodevelopmental disorders to conduct further research such as implementation research involving the development of successful interventions to improve sleep and neurological wellbeing of children and adolescents. She has received a good number of scholarship and travel awards related to neurodevelopmental disorders and sleep medicine. Furthermore, as a member of the Sleep Research Team in her home institution, she hopes to conduct more multidisciplinary clinical and translational research in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics, Epidemiology and Paediatric sleep medicine.
