Dr Akinyemi has participated in many international conferences and have papers published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP), International Society for Clinical Biostatistics, International Epidemiological Association, Population Association of America among other professional organizations. He is passionate about critical societal need for evidence towards improving population and public health in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.
