She was also a recipient of the Association of Commonwealth Universities Early Academic Career Grant in July 2017, the NRF Thuthuka Grant in 2021, and the Female Academic Leadership Scholarship in 2022. She is driven by a passion for authors and, in particular, authors development. Lebogang Maseko believes in the human spirit; she believes that anything is possible if one is willing to work hard and that there is a reason for everything.
