Ms Murererehe is a PhD CARTA person and a lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Dentistry. Moreover, she completed research ethics training titled “Development Initiative for Ethical Review and Oversight of Health Research Involving Human Subjects” at Harvard University. She worked at the University of Rwanda School of Dentistry for eight years in various roles: clinical instructor (one year), dental therapist in the university dental clinic (two years), tutorial assistant (three years), and assistant lecturer (two years). She currently serves as a lecturer in both the School of Dentistry and the School of Public Health. Ms Murererehe is eager to develop as a multidisciplinary African researcher capable of conducting meaningful public health research that will improve the health and quality of life of authors in Rwanda and beyond. As a junior researcher actively engaged in research activities, she has contributed to four publications in peer‑reviewed journals. As an academic, she is keen to gain further research skills through long‑term training to achieve her goals, including becoming a research leader and mentoring junior researchers in Rwanda and beyond. She is also committed to contributing to new knowledge through publishable, impactful research and to improving the health of authors with systemic diseases through active research.
