Jean De Dieu Habimana

Jean de Dieu is a CARTA PhD person, Cohort 8. He is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Applied Human Nutrition and he is assessing the prevalence of aflatoxin from breast milk and its effects on nutrients absorption and nutrition status of children below six months old in Rwanda. Jean de Dieu has done an advanced diploma in Environmental Health Sciences; he has also a bachelor degree (Hons) in Environmental Health Sciences from Kigali Health Institute which become later a College of Medicine and Health Sciences in the University of Rwanda. He has Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition from University of Nairobi, Kenya. Jean de Dieu has worked at University of Rwanda School of School of Public Health for 6 years as Tutorial Assistant (4 years) from 2012-2015, Assistant Lecturer from 2016- now. Previously, He worked as an Environmental Health Officer in charge of Hygiene and Community Health in Rulindo Health Center for five years from 2008-2012 and in Charge of Hygiene and Health inspection in Gasabo District for one year 2007. Jean de Dieu is passionate in teaching and research with willingness expand his knowledge, which will help to improve research at his University, his country, in the region and even beyond
