I am a medical specialist with an undergraduate Medical degree from Moi University, MMED qualification in Internal Medicine from University of Nairobi and postgraduate certificate in Oncology from University of Tel Aviv, Israel. I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine of Moi University. I am involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. I supervise postgraduate students as they develop research proposals and carry out research for their thesis that is a requirement for attainment of the postgraduate degree. I do clinical work in medical and cancer units at the Moi Teaching and Referral hospital, Eldoret as well as research both in Internal Medicine and Oncology. In Oncology I am involved in Aids Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) clinical trials on Kaposi Sarcoma. I am also involved in Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) trial under Aids Malignancy Consortium (AMC) trial group. I am a member of Kenya Medical Association (KMA), Kenya Association of Physicians (KAP), Kenya Medical Women’s Association (KEMWA) and American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO).
