Catherine Kafu

Catherine is currently a project manager for a clinical trial nested within AMPATH-Kenya titled "Integrated Community-based HIV/NCD Care and Microfinance Groups in Kenya". She has been involved in public health research with a focus on HIV in Western Kenya for the past twelve years. During this period, she has conducted qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, and implementation science studies focused on HIV prevention and treatment among adult and adolescent populations. She has contributed to protocol development, the design and piloting of data collection tools, data collection, data analysis, and the dissemination of findings through diverse channels, including scholarly journal publications, conference presentations, briefings to relevant organizations, and presentations to the study population.
