Hellen Jepngetich

NAME: Hellen Jepngetich, BSc, MPH NATIONALITY: Kenyan PROFESSION: Public Health Officer KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Currently, she is a lecturer in the School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Moi University. She has over three years' experience in teaching, tutoring, supervising, assessing, and mentoring students. In addition, she coordinates the department's examinations, timetable, and teaching programs. She also has over 10 years of experience in the administration and management of clinical and research programs at health facilities and at the community level. She worked as the program coordinator for the Haematology and Oncology program, currently housed at the Academic Model Providing Access to Health Care (AMPATH). During her tenure, she coordinated the standardization and operationalization of both clinical and research activities, developing reporting templates, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Previously, she worked as the Human Subjects Administrator in the Institutional Research and Ethics Committee for Moi University and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where she coordinated the review of standard operating procedures and related forms for protocol submission. Before her appointment as a full-time faculty member at the School of Public Health, she taught as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Management and Health Policy.
