Funmilola Olanike Wuraola

Funmilola is a Consultant General Surgeon and Senior Lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University. She is a certified Genetic and Risk Assessment practitioner by the City of Hope, California, USA, and she completed a year Breast Surgical Oncology person at University Health Network, Toronto, Canada. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and a Master’s in Surgery from the University of Edinburgh. Her general surgery residency was at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, and she also undertook training in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interest is in breast cancer biology, genetics, and factors affecting global cancer disparities.
