Razak Lewis Mussa

Razak Mussa is a social scientist with a Master's degree in Development Studies, specializing in policy analysis. With extensive experience in research, program coordination, and monitoring and evaluation, he currently serves as Project Coordinator at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences – Centre for Reproductive Health, managing research and development initiatives focused on adolescent health and wellbeing. He is the Malawi Site Coordinator for the Global Early Adolescent Study (GEAS), a five-year longitudinal study across 15 countries examining social-emotional and structural factors influencing young adolescents' health and wellbeing. He is also involved in an NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) four-year longitudinal study on adolescent health and wellbeing in Malawi. He contributed to a political economy analysis of access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) initiatives in Malawi, further strengthening expertise in SRH research. His research interests include social protection, adolescent health and wellbeing, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), and community-driven development initiatives.
